In Lost Tools of Writing Level II, students will build upon their abilities learned in LTW I from writing Persuasive Essays to begin writing Judicial Addresses. The Canon of Invention with its 5 Common Topics will introduce Special Topics to help students to think critically in a sense of morality, law, and logic. Refinement of tools already learned in the Canon of Arrangement will allow students to polish their order of information gathered. And with new tools of Elocution, students will have an increased poetic ability to effectively communicate their ideas.
By reading, contemplation, and discussion, we will be diving into the lesser known and more surreal novels of Lewis by primarily following a character named Ransom, along with other key characters that either hinder or help him in his grand journeys.
