At Kepler Education, we believe parents have been endowed with divine responsibility for the health, welfare, and education of their children. In other words, parents are privileged with full educational agency. At Kepler, families are empowered to shape the life of their child's learning without surrendering to the bureaucracy of institutionalized or government schooling.

Recent developments in state-based educational funding, especially through Educational Savings Accounts (ESAs) and similar scholarship or tax-refund concepts, offer new avenues for strengthening that agency. Such programs, where available, allow parents to use their tax dollars for an array of legitimate educational expenses: curricula, online courses, instructional materials, tutoring, and even extracurricular enrichment.

For families already homeschooling or considering that path, ESAs can be a useful instrument for funding a rigorous, Classical Christian Education at home. Yet, each state draws its own boundaries and enforces its own conditions. Some limit eligibility to special-needs students, others impose income thresholds, or require programmatic oversight and accountability, from registration to periodic portfolio or testing submissions. Because of this variance, families must assess this opportunity with wisdom and prudence and draw their own conclusions about the use of such programs.

While the promise of support and flexibility should never undermine the deeper convictions by which families homeschool their children, ESAs can be used well when their terms align with a family’s convictions and goals. That is where Kepler enters the picture. As a marketplace for Classical Christian Education united by a shared vision for student flourishing, we have navigated the appropriate steps to become vendors in states where terms do not conflict with our classical pedagogy and Christian convictions. That means wherever State ESAs authorize expenditures on live, online courses for high school and dual-enrollment students, parents can use their self-directed funds to enroll their students in Kepler courses.

We offer qualified, vetted, and experienced teachers in every subject. And with Kepler, any student with a reliable internet connection may access a high-quality education in the Classical Christian tradition.
