About the course

In this General Science course we will take a broad overview of the scientific knowledge accumulated by mankind and its development throughout history. We will explore the history of science and understand how man unfolded the mysteries of creation through the ages. Our studies will also encompass the modern standards for sciences and scientific thinking by understanding the scientific inquiry, methods, documentation, and analysis.

After setting a solid foundation with these concepts, we will travel the main fields of science through the basic principles of astronomy, geology, meteorology, oceanography, chemistry, physics, and biology. This bold curriculum will grant a very robust first science formation for the starting grades and an overview of the many aspects of Creation, allowing the students to be exposed to and discover the many possibilities within science.

This course will be taught under the guidance of the Holy Bible and the perspective of a God that created all things by the power of His Word, as summarized in Hebrews 11:3 “By faith we understand that the worlds have been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen hath not been made out of things which appear.”
