Build conversational fluency through memorized and improvised dialogue, read a full-length novel, refine pronunciation, deepen listening comprehension, and advance from grammar review into more complex structures.
French 3 builds on what we learned in French 2. Most of the grammar is review at this point. All major tenses have been covered already, and the new ones we will learn are derived from tenses we've already studied. We continue to build on our vocabulary, listening comprehension, and reading fluency.
The major new component this year is developing students' conversational ability in a variety of situations and registers through memorized, scripted, and improvised conversations.Students will be attend one formal recitation each week.
