Lost Tools of Writing Level 1B Legends of the Round Table
Tuesday, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
In this course, students will be equipped with the tools of classical composition to face the universal challenges that every writer encounters: coming up with ideas, organizing ideas, and expressing ideas appropriately. Students will practice evaluating the decisions of characters in American Literature. They will then practice the skills of rhetoric through composing and supporting a persuasive essay.
In the Lost Tools 1B Course, we will begin with a review of the schemes and tropes learned in essays one through four. Once the students have mastered the early schemes and tropes, essays 5-8 will be introduced. We will go through each essay twice to ensure students have a thorough understanding of the tools and skills that have been introduced.
