Introduction to Spanish Conversation

Course Description

Students will be taken through 8 modules based on Dorothy Richmond’s Basic Spanish, as well as translation and pronunciation exercises that will give each student an introductory knowledge of basic Spanish grammar and vocabulary. The class will emphasize conversation and interaction as much as possible. The course is designed for students who have not studied Spanish before.

Course Objectives:

  • To achieve facility reading and pronouncing Spanish, to be comfortable having semi-scripted conversations revolving around everyday situations.
