Session 1
Tuesday, 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM
This class will take students through all 30 lessons of Picta Dicta Latin Primer 1. These lessons cover all the endings of the five major cases for first- and second-declension nouns. The teacher will provide extra material (e.g., present personal verb endings, ablative of means, etc.) depending on class progress.
This course prepares students for continued study in Latin Primer 2 or other introductory Latin courses. Students will take the Universal Latin Exam in the spring. Students should plan to spend about 20 minutes a day on non-class days reviewing vocabulary and grammar and completing short written or oral exercises.
