about the teacher
I came to know Christ and understand His sacrifice for me in my early elementary years. My church encouraged me to try new things and I was mentored by my youth pastor in High School. God intervened in my hatred of high school to take me to Liberty University where I could take the Bible classes I was actually interested in.
I spent nine years in college and seminary before going to Korea. In Korea, God taught me to trust Him through financial issues at the seminary where I worked and through personnel issues in the mission. My greatest lesson was learning what God could do with a few committed teachers. Our students were blessed. Our attendance more than doubled and we were able to reach out with scholarships to a number of Amerasian children.
My wife and I returned to the states (I married one of those teachers!) to care for my dad who had been diagnosed with cancer. Since then, God has given me the responsibility of pastoring a small country church and teaching in various homeschool settings. I am grateful for His faithfulness.
