Augustine's Confessions

About the course
This course is a deep study of Augustine of Hippo’s magnificent work, his Confessions. Augustine is arguably one of the greatest Christian thinkers and worth every Christian’s meditation. In this class, we will consider this work as foundational for the outgrowth of Christian spirituality, theology, and understanding of Holy Scripture. By wrestling with Augustine’s internal life, we will also consider how to navigate our own concerns—theological, spiritual, or otherwise—seeking to learn from a profoundly wise, spiritual father.
