About the course

Why should I care about my body? What are the most time tested methods of physical training? For what purpose should I go through physical training? How do I create my own physical training plan? These are all questions that will be addressed in this physical education course.

Course Description

Students will: 1) Look at a biblical basis for understanding personal health and fitness 2) Read of the classical training methods of Georges Hebert (early 20th century physical educator) 3) Build and implement their own physical training routine. 4) Once per week, students will gather for a live work out session with Mr. Rutt. These sessions will be used to also correct form for certain exercises. 5) Complete an end of the year project reporting the results from their physical training.
