This course will continue on from the Beginner's German courses (1 and 2).

Note: The instructor is accepting diligent, intelligent, and hardworking 11-year-olds, who have clear and existing ability in the German language for this course.

Course Objectives

  1. Develop confident listeners and speakers of German to a pre-intermediate level.
  2. Improve German reading (and, to some extent, writing) skills with a variety of appropriate texts.
  3. Expand cultural awareness and insight of the German-speaking world.
  4. Deepen understanding of cognitive science (and practical mechanics) of memory and language-learning.

Benjamin Lucas Benjamin Lucas is an Englishman, who has taught in the hills of Old Wessex and mountains of the Confoederatio Helvetica. He has a degree in foreign languages, spending a year abroad in the former Soviet Union, and is fluent in 5 languages..
