Description:Students who struggled through Level I of the Lost Tools of Writing program will find a general review of the skills taught in the first four essays, followed by a more in-depth review of Essays 5-8 and their accompanying Invention, Arrangement, and Elocution lessons.This course is exclusively for students who have previously taken Lost Tools of Writing, Level I. Mr. Douvier is a CiRCE Institute-certified Master Teacher trained in The Lost Tools of Writing program and has taught it to students since 2018.
Course Objectives: Review LTW1 Essays 1-4-
Utilize the five Common Topics of Invention to generate information-
Recognize and use six schemes and tropes-
Write four persuasive essays (Essays 5-8)-
Grow in their ability to think and write well-
