Students will:

  • Develop problem-solving skills using design thinking methodologies rooted in creativity and stewardship
  • Analyze and apply visual hierarchy, typography, and composition with an understanding of how design influences culture and perception
  • Work with data visualization inspired by Tufte’s principles while considering clarity, honesty, and integrity in communication
  • Attend visual lectures and discussions on contemporary design trends, evaluating them from a biblical perspective
  • Complete individual and collaborative projects in graphic design that reflect both artistic excellence and ethical responsibility

Biblical Integration:

Throughout the course, students will explore how God, as the ultimate Creator, designed the world with order, balance, and beauty. Discussions will focus on how visual communication can be used to glorify God, uplift communities, and communicate truth with integrity in a visually saturated culture.
