This Introduction to SketchUp is intended for anyone who desires to create beautiful, 3-D drawings of anything!
The student will learn:
- How to configure the SketchUp environment: creating your own keyboard shortcuts, mouse setup
- Drawing Tools: Rectangle Tool, Line Tool, Circle Tool, Polygon Tool, Arc Tools … and more
- Modify Tools: Push/Pull, Offset, Follow Me
- Move Tools: Move, Rotate, Scale
- Construction Tools: Tape Measure and guides, Protractor, Axes
- Views: Orbit, Hand, Zoom, Zoom Window, Zoom Extents
- Solid Tools: Intersect, Outer Shell, Split, Subtract, Trim, Union
- How to work with Groups and Components

Objectives
The objective of this introduction is to equip the student with 3d modeling tools, and begin to develop the skills and methodology, to draw anything in SketchUp 3D modeling system.
