About the course
Students will learn the tools of Invention, Arrangement, and Elocution as they Focus on essays 5-8 (with a review of essay 4) from Lost Tools of Writing Level 1. They will practice generating ideas using the five common topics. Students will evaluate characters’ decisions from Legends of The Round Table. They will also learn to form and articulate logical arguments, organize ideas, and effectively and accurately use schemes and tropes in their writing. In addition, students will develop the habit of organizing their work and keeping a commonplace book.
