About the course
Through reading Snorri Sturleston's translation of the Prose Edda, students will be introduced to the themes of Norse Mythology that have inspired some of the greatest storytellers of the 20th century. This course will focus on developing a symbolic understanding of common tropes in Norse myth. Students will write essays, compose presentations, and even try to tell a story of their own. This is a one-semester course.
